In the spring of 1988, in the depth of the Iraq-Iran war, the border town of Halabja was attacked by chemical weapons with all its people and their different stories.

In the winter of the year 1988 in the most intense era of the Iran – Iraq war, the Kurdish rebel fighters (Peshmarga) engaged in their activities against the Baath’s party in the border town of Halabja. This multiple storyline film tells the true stories of families in Halabja, such as Omari Khawar and the story of the peshmerga’s, in the months leading up to 16 March 1988, the day Halabja was bombed with chemical weapons. including that of Omari Khawar and of a revolutionary Peshmarga who falls in love with a school teacher during one of his activities inside the town.
