Two friends have shared a holiday home in the Austrian Alps for years. When their teenage daughters are involved in an accident during a joint holiday, their apparent friendship rapidly crumbles. Old wounds and pent-up frustrations drive the parents further apart when they learn that one daughter can be saved, but only if the other girl is given up.
