Rebin and the Storks | AKFF
Amsterdam Koerdisch Film Festival
As winter approaches, the migrating storks begin their long journey. They move to the mountainous villages in western Iran. Every year, the residents of these villages build nests for the migrating storks and host them. Rabin, a school student from the village, has a great interest in animals. Like the rest of the villagers, he plays a role in caring for the storks. Each year, when the chicks are born, the mother storks instinctively push some of their young out of the nest. Last year, Rebin had an unsuccessful attempt to save the life of a young stork. This year, Rebin is once again looking for young storks that may fall from the nest. He carefully monitors the nests and stays vigilant during this critical moment. However, his family opposes this, believing that nature should not be interfered with.
