3. Anthem Below The Oak Trees (2024) – 23 min

Hama Tal is an old Peshmerga. In his time as Peshmerga, he returned to his village to kill a mercenary of the Ba’ath regime. However, Hama Tal was reported and arrested and later transferred to southern Iraq. Hama Tal’s friend, Shahab, is the only one who knows the secret behind Hama Tal’s arrest. Hama Tal, now older, wants to uncover this secret. However, when Shahab dies of illness, the secret remains hidden in Hama’s mind and heart forever.
