Isabel is a sparkling somelière who (really) likes her wine and works at a Michelin-starred restaurant in São Paulo. Selecting, pouring, and marrying the best wines, exchanging and sharing them with the guests, Isabel is the living example that a delicious wine tastes better in good company. For many, it might seem like a dream, but not for Isabel — constantly made to feel small by a boss who has no room for her creative and daring passion for wine. For Isabel, wine is one of those things that becomes the most essential part of your soul. Done with her toxic boss, she chooses to uncork her destiny on her own terms and decides to open her own wine bar.
Gorgeously grainy and warm, the film is set in the colorful streets of Saõ Paulo, inviting you into Isabel’s world made of many wine bottles shared with lovers, friends, strangers, and strangers that become friends. Isabel’s entrepreneurial dreams and (mis)adventures are a true joyride to experience on screen, refreshing like a glass of cold wine on warm summer nights.
